That's the name of this cute Christmas pair, which was a freebie digi from Pollycraft. I chose the papers from my stash & used that as my colour combo, which is unusual I think, I never would have put green & purple together but I think it works quite well. The Pink Elephant & Pollycraft Challenges
I've used this week's sketch over at The Pink Elephant and combined it with Pollycraft's theme, which was bling. Now I know there's not an awful lot of bling on this card & the reason is I was so busy deciding on the Pollycraft image to use, finding the papers and putting the card together, I totally forgot about the "bling" factor and when I'd finished and realised my error I felt that the card wouldn't look right with loads of bling on it, so I added the little diamante heart as it fit with the theme of the card and hopefully is enough for the theme of the challenge too!Saturday, 13 June 2009
Pollycraft Challenge No. 17
A recipe challenge over at Pollycraft this week:Wednesday, 15 April 2009
Pollycraft Monday Challenge No. 13
You'll never guess what the theme over at Pollycraft's Challenge was this week - Orange I hear you say? How did you guess! LOL I love orange & really enjoyed making this card, it's so bright & zingy.
I've used a Pollycraft digi-stamp, this is from the set "Penelope in the Garden" and she's now a gorgeous auburn Penelope! I've coloured her with SU markers in Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust, Close to Cocoa and Garden Green and some Cameo Coral for the dragonfly. Her hair has been done with a Sakura glaze pen for a bit of shine and I've used a Sakura clear Stardust pen to give the dragonfly wings and the flower centres a bit of sparkle.
The sentiment is also from an SU set - Cheer & Wishes and the backing papers are from my stash.
The cardstock is a graduated orange colour which is why it's dark orange on one side only, the lighter side is a very pale orange, which isn't so clear in the picture.
I've also added a couple of orange eyelets, just in case the card wasn't quite orangey enough!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge No. 12
The Challenge this week was to use one of Pollycraft's downloadable digi-stamps, and this one is from the Phoebe & Maud set. The image was already coloured so I didn't have to do anything there and I've cut a circle & a scalloped layer using my Nesties to put the image on. The BP is from Pink Petticoat, the green BP is from my stash & the pink card is SU Pink Passion. The ribbon & candy is from my stash & the little butterfly in the corner is a sticker, and I've put silicon under his wing so it's raised up.Wednesday, 18 February 2009
Pollycraft Monday Challenge No. 9

For this challenge I've gone pink & green, which I hope is ok rather than all-out Pink, but I think it does the job.
The image is a download from Pollycraft - Phoebe & Maude Spring Kit, which is just so sweet, the pink backing papers is from a FunkyHand CD and the other two papers are part of the same Pollycraft kit. The brad & butterfly are from my stash.
