It's my big brother's wedding this weekend & so I wanted this card to be a bit special, I really took my time doing the card to get it right & I'm pleased with the results - phew! I didn't want to overdo it and have kept it fairly simple and uncluttered as I think that's what my brother & his fiancee would like.I used the sketch for the challenge over at Delightful Sketches which I really liked the looked of. The image is one of June's gorgeous vintage freebies she gives away on her blog Art Freebies, as soon as I saw this picture a while ago I knew I wanted to use it for my brother's card as his Fiancee is French and I liked the French sentiment. The DSP's are Papermania, bought especially for this card, it's a double sided sheet and I don't know if you can see it, but the strip across the top is a music script and it says on it "Wedding March" which is just visible at the top left. The cardstock is SU! Ruby Red and the lace and roses are from my stash.
I've used the same paper inside and also cut out some hearts - should have taken a photo, it's a bit dark now!!
