4 challenges and 2 awards

Here's a card I did yesterday but didn't manage to photograph until today, what dismal weather we're having here!

I'm entering this into 4 challenges:
Penny Black: Song Lyric - Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
I love ProMarkers - Sketch
Allsorts - Bling
Susie's Sassy Designs - Christmas

The image & sentiment are both Penny Black, coloured with PM's and I've added SU! Dazzling Diamonds to the snow and around the edge of the puddle, I've also glittered up the snowflake (from a punch) by using SU! Heat & Stick powder (this stuff is great for preventing the glitter coming back off the card everytime you look at it LOL) and more Dazzling Diamonds, so I think I've got the bling factor covered! The papers are from my stash and the cardstock is SU! Elegant Eggplant, which is fast becoming one of my new favourites - and I don't even like purple, but am loving this!

I've been very lucky to have received two awards, both from my Sophisticat DT buddies Cheryl & Avril, thanks so much to both of you for thinking of me, it's lovely to have these awards and I'd like to pass them on to any of my followers that would like them as a big thank you for your continued support.

All That Scraps & Allsorts Challenges

I made this cute little backpack, following the instructions over at All That Scraps blog and I'm also entering it into Allsorts Challenge which is Autumn Days.

I've seen these backpacks on other blogs and they look so sweet, I really enjoyed making my own, although I didn't realise how small they are, but still very sweet.

I've used Stampin' Up! Washington Apple papers (last day before they retire) and some ribbon and eyelets from my stash. I've put a CC image called Apple Emma on the back, which worked so well with the papers, as there just wasn't room to squeeze her on the front!

Allsorts Challenge - Male cards

A card for a man - a phrase that strikes fear into many a crafter, what no flowers, no ribbon, no bling? What will I do? Male cards can be so tricky but that's the challenge over at Allsorts this week.

This is one of those "middle of the night" ideas, I was mulling over what to do for my SU class next week and was thinking of Christmas cards and wanted to do a very simple black & white card with some red and came up with this design more or less (but for the Christmas one I'll add the Christmas tree from the set to the back of the truck - that's the versatility with this set!). And I'm really pleased with the result, I've got a male friend's birthday coming up too, so this card is now winging it's way to him. Once I had the actual idea the card was really quick to make, the background is an SU! wheel (love these, so useful) a bit of red colour here & there & raised the truck off the card with SU! Dimensional pads and Voila! done.

All Stampin' Up!, the sentiment actually comes with the matching accessory set, which I don't yet have, so I've just typed it out on the computer.

Stamps - Loads of Love; Neighbourhood
Markers - Real Red; Bordering Blue; Basic Black
Cardstock - Real Red; Whisper White
Accessories - Dimensionals
