Setting my first DT Challenge

Well it's my week over at Charisma to set the challenge and I've gone for "buttons" I want to see some on your card, but the rest is up to you. I chose buttons for my first challenge as my daughter Georgia loves buttons and especially cards with buttons, so I thought it would be nice to go with her favourite crafty thing.

I've gone for a simple card and as I've used some of my (precious, I have so little) Papertrey goodies on it and as their challenge is also buttons, I'm going to enter it over there as well (great minds think alike hey!).

The image is an Artylicious stamp I've had for ages and hardly ever use, so it was nice to ink it up again, it's a set of different flower heads, stems & leaves and is really lovely, I've used SU! ink Summer Sun which I thought was quite a good match for the Papertrey yellow cardstock & ribbon, the brown c/s is Stampin' Up! Chocolate Chip, the DSP is also SU from the set "Tea & Crumpets" and the buttons are from my stash.

So please hop over to Charisma this week & have a go at the challenge, there's a great prize on offer from Simon Says Stamp, a $20 voucher and I look forward to seeing what you all come up with.

Dottie's World Challenge - Blast From the Past

The challenge on Dottie's World this week was to recreate a layout from an old card, so here are my two cards for the challenge:
Card 1 - the original card has been made using a FourthDimension stamp and coloured with H2O's, the papers are from an Artylicious CD and the brads are from my stash.
Card 2 - Is using a Girls About Town download from Charmed and coloured with Sakura Glaze & Stardust pens and the papers are from Pink Petticoat, ribbon & flower embellisments both from my stash
