Two Challenges & I'm off to the NEC!

Another two for the price of one with this card I made today, I've followed the sketch over at Cupcake Craft and the image is a freebie by Wendy at Digital Doodling. I've coloured my image with Stampin' Up! markers to match the papers and card stock and the cupcake is another die-cut made with the Cricut.

Recipe:

Image - Wendy's freebie

SU! Markers - Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Ballet Blue, Apricot Appeal, Close to Cocoa

Cardstock - Regal Rose, Whisper White, Ballet Blue

Sentiment - Fun & Fast Notes; Window Punch

DSPs - Sweet Always (retired)

Cupcake - using SU! c/s - Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Basic Black

I'm super excited as I'm off to the Hobbycrafts Show at the NEC tomorrow - all those crafting goodies, all under one roof - oh heaven! I'm sadly on a bit of a budget this time, but just getting to look & touch all those products will be simply marvellous - can't wait. If anyone's going, I'll be the one with the crazed look in my eyes fondling the ProMarkers!!!!

3 in 1 Christmas Card

I really seem to be struggling to find the time for challenges at the moment, so it was good to do a card I can fit into 3 challenges. I'm entering this one into:

Bee Crafty - Distressing

Cupcake Craft - Sketch

Papertake Weekly - Spots and Stripes

The image is a really love digi-image from Bee Crafty, I actually downloaded this with the intention of doing the last challenge, but missed it, so I'm glad I got to use it this time, I've coloured it with PM's & SU! markers, I've not done a lot of distressing, but have chalked around the edge of the image and the mats with SU! chalks and distressed the spotty paper slightly.

The papers are free digi's from Summertime designs, the cardstock is SU! Elegant Eggplant - am really loving this at the moment, the brad is from my stash & the snowflakes I've cut out with the Cricut.

TFL & have a good Sunday, it's blowing a gale here & I struggled to get a reasonable photo as the sun is in & out all the time.

Cupcake Craft Challenge

Finally got around to entering the Cupcake Craft Challenge, I aim to every week, but somehow never seem to get around to it, I'm only just in the nick of time now as it closes tomorrow. So here's my entry, the theme was Thanks & I've used the sweet little bird from the Stampin' Up! set Fun & Fast Notes, the rest is all Stampin' Up! too, except for the punch for the flower.

Stamp Sets - Fun & Fast Notes; Simply Said

DSP's - Washington Apple

Ribbon - Certainly Celery

SU! Markers - Apricot Appeal; Certainly Celery

Cardstock - Certainly Celery

Off to walk the dog now, as the sun's shining for the moment, but it's a bit in & out & showery today!
