Caught a Bug

Caught a Bug

Here's a fun get well card I've done for a couple of challenges, I loved the colour combo, really bright & cheery & thought that would work well with the image & would hopefully put a smile back on someone's face who was feeling under the weather.

Here's the details:
Image - freebie from DigiStamp Boutique (coloured with SU Markers & Koh-i-noor pencils)
DSP - Stampin' Up! Tea Party
Cardstock & SU Markers - Pink Passion; Barely Banana
Flowers & brads from stash

I'm entering this into:
Design Dollies Colour Challenge - Fuschia & Pale Yellow
Allsorts - Sketch

I think my mojo, which has been missing in action since Christmas seems to be returning - hooray & about blooming time too!

Miss Anya for 2 Challenges

I was very lucky to be sent some gorgeous stamped images from a very lovely SU Demo called Sarah-Jane, she knew I wanted to get my hands on some Gorjuss Girl stamps and offered to stamp some out for me and also included a few Miss Anya's too - how generous is that.  So I've been dying to use one of the images and the Challenge over at Stamp Something this week is for a Pink Birthday Card and I decided to use one of the Miss Anya Stamps.  The layout is taken from this week's  Charisma Cardz Sketch Challenge, which I really liked, I haven't done a DL card for ages and it made a nice change.

Apart from the image and the two little gems I've used all Stampin' Up! products throughout:

Cardstock: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink
DSPs: all from the set "Tea Party" including the flower which has been cut out of one of the papers
Coloured with Watercolour Crayons: Pretty in Pink, Barely Banana, Apricot Appeal, Blush Blossom, Perfect Plum, Sage Shadow, Certainly Celery
Sentiment: From the Hostess Gift set "Best Yet"

It's a dull day here today, so it's an indoor picture under a bright light and is a bit paler than in real life.

Stampacular Sunday - For The Birds

Challenge No. 2 over at Stampacular Sunday was called "For the Birds" and had to feature stamping and a bird somewhere on the project, so I fufilled both criteria by stamping a little bird. He comes from the SU stamp set "Fun & Fast Notes" and I've coloured him with SU Stampin' Write markers - Not Quite Navy; Cameo Coral and Garden Green. The DP's are also SU from the set Tea Party and the flower embellishment is from my stash (don't know the make sorry).
