Sweet Stampin' Challenge No. 1

It's our first challenge over at Sweet Stampin and the theme is "Celebration" as we're celebrating our first challenge and new DT, you can enter with a card, scrap page, ATC, anything you like as long as it represents some sort of Celebration. You don't have to use Stampin' Up! products on your cards, but if you do, you get two entries into the monthly draw to win some fab SU! goodies - what a great way to get your hands on SU! So I hope you can join us this week.

I've gone for a baby card, and kept it fairly simple as it's a boy card, it's brighter in real life, as I'm still struggling with lighting for taking photo's.

Recipe: All Stampin' Up!
Stamp - Fun & Fast Notes
Coloured with - Watercolour Crayon in Bashful Blue; marker in Chocolate Chip
Ink - Stazon
DSP - Bashful Blue
Cardstock - Bashful Blue; Chocolate Chip
Eyelet Border Punch

I've made the blingy dots, by putting a length of sticky strip on Choc Chip c/s, and adding Dazzling Diamonds, as I didn't have any suitable boy bling!

I'm also adding this card into Annabelle Stamps Challenge as I've used their sketch (which requires the bling!) thought it was a lovely straightforward sketch too, nice & easy to use.

Hope to see you over at Sweet Stampin & TFL xx

Jan, I love the new blog challenge. I used to be a SU demo but it didn't work out. I've used SU catalogs to inspire me for quite some time, glad to see they have a blog for challenges. Your card is gorgeous. A friend's daughter had a baby and I prepared announcements using that stamp and similar layout (I didn't use brads). Yours is too cute!
